How Our Text Messaging Works
When you text one of our numbers, you are opting in to receive SMS text messages from TxLRS. If you have not already opted in to receive SMS text messages, the system will automatically send you a text message letting you know that you have opted in and providing instructions on how to opt out. You may opt out at any time by texting the word STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, REVOKE, STOPALL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
When you call one of our numbers, if you are not already opted in to receive SMS text messages from TxLRS, a representative may read a disclosure and ask for your consent to receive SMS text messages from TxLRS. If you respond in the affirmative (i.e., “yes”), you will be opted in to receive SMS text messages, and the system will automatically send you a text message letting you know that you have opted in and providing instructions on how to opt out. You may opt out at any time by texting the word STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, REVOKE, STOPALL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
When you opt out of receiving SMS text messages, you will receive one more text message that confirms that you have opted out and gives you instructions on how you may opt in. You may opt in or re-subscribe at any time by texting the word START, YES, JOIN, HELLO, HI, UNSTOP, or SUBSCRIBE.
Opting In and Opting Out is managed individually by phone number. For example, if you have two phone numbers and opt out of one, it does not change the status of the other.
After you opt in to receive text messages from TxLRS, we may send you messages such as:
- Confirm your free referral request
- Deliver the matched attorney’s information or a secure link to it
- Provide status updates on your request or a secure link to it
- Respond to your HELP inquiries
These messages are informational and transactional only. We never send marketing or promotional content, and we never sell or share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
