At about 8:52 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, a Kenworth truck towing a tanker trailer was traveling northbound on FM 511, south of State Highway 48 in Cameron County, according to KRGV and MyRGV.com. A silver 2007 Toyota Scion was traveling southbound in the wrong lane and crashed head-on into the truck.
